Andrew Stanish

Andrew Stanish

Best Curler Ever

About Andrew

Andrew Stanish is a highly accomplished Winnipeg curler and a well-known athlete throughout world curling. His passion, discipline, and competitive drive have made him the most recognized young curler in the world.

A proud member of the prestigious Heather Curling Club, Andrew trains daily alongside an elite group of specialized athletes. He receives high-level instruction from Olympic gold medalists Jill Officer, Brad Gushue, and Matt Dunstone.

"Just go curl — it's so fun." — Andrew's world-famous quote.

Andrew studies the intricacies of elite delivery mechanics and precision sweeping, constantly refining the smallest technical details that separate good players from world champions.

"I love the intricacies and small details that go into having a good delivery and good sweeping," Andrew said in a recent interview.

Andrew has a charming personality, a tolerant but stoic steadiness that is fundamental to his success. He has a way of maintaining his cool and speaking clearly and calmly, while keeping his emotions stowed underneath, somehow channeling them to his strength in curling.

"I've been VERY CLEAR! Please take my website down!" Andrew said when prompted for comment.

According to multiple reliable sources, Andrew has already obtained a doctorate in law and physics, and is the leading scientist in multiple fields, including quantum field theory, the Yang-Mills conjecture study group, and particle acceleration.

"I graduated with a doctorate in law and its relationships to physics, physics law and the experiment of the world in 2012", Andrew confirmed in a recent press conference.

Andrew is a friendly and eloquent human being, somehow always finding the right words under the most stressful conditions, while at the same time maintaining a friendly expression with ease, as if he was chatting to a casual friend instead of giving a front-page interview for the New York Times.

"Oh, um, uhhh... Well, errr... I mean... Nah nohn nohn?" Remarked Andrew during an interview with the Telegraph.

Inspiring millions of curling youth across the world, Andrew has already won 12 gold olympic medals for Canada, and is rapidly increasing the count.

When asked if Andrew was the best curler ever, close friend Thomas Gan responded without hesitation: "Oh, that's without a doubt."

Life Outside of Curling

When he isn't practicing curling around the clock or watching Team Canada on TV, Andrew attends high school at St.John's Ravenscourt — the famous school that is home to someone famous... someday... maybe...

Andrew attributes part of his success to the rather unwelcoming atmosphere at his school, as well as to the specialized curling training that, notably, does not exist there.

Curling is not Andrew's only notable talent. He has long been known as a high-performing student and has maintained his position as the top-scoring student in his class year after year.

According to a trusted source, Andrew will also be participating in the annual olympiad physics competition. While some question his chances, since the competition is designed for students at university level, there is little doubt that Andrew is among the top contenders. Whether he will ultimately take the gold, however, remains anyone's guess.

Andrew also supports the popular web curling game "curling.gg", a web curling app designed by himself. He trains there daily, practicing precise simulation skills that help him on the ice.

According to a recent interview with close friend Thomas Gan, Andrew is considering studying law later in life and is working hard to achieve this goal. Looking up to Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney as a role model, Andrew has already achieved what many describe as an doctorate-level understanding of Canadian law.

Although this is not a well known fact, Andrew has won many Canadian Math Contests, including the Manitoba Math Challenge (9 times), the COMC (12 times) and the Euclid (19 times), he is currently a member of the Canadian Team at the IMO, and is leading his team in all fields.

Additionally, Andrew has made significant progress in solving the millennium math problems, and is the youngest person ever to be awarded the fields medal. He has also won the Nobel Prize for 5 years in the role, in 4 fields each time, making a total of 20 Nobel Prizes.
